10:30

Pick up from your guesthouse or from Oxenholme station at 09:52

We depart up the eastern shore of Windermere, enjoying the views as we travel closer to the market town of Ambleside. Passing the site of the Roman Fort of Galava at Waterhead, we journey on the narrow winding road to the home of Peter Rabbit.
En route we experience the typical Lakeland countryside with forests, hills and green fields dotted with Herdwick sheep and cows.

11:20

On to Hill Top Farm, bought by Beatrix Potter 100 years ago and where she wrote many famous stories including The Tales of Peter Rabbit. The farmhouse, used as the basis for many later stories, has been preserved in its original state. Every day we may enter the garden and shop, and on Saturday to Wednesday entrance to the farmhouse is included.

Please note that from November thru to the end of March and on Fridays throughout the year the house is closed. On these days we include complimentary entrance to the World of Beatrix Potter Attraction in Bowness.

12:00

After some time at Hill Top Farm we travel past Esthwaite Water to Hawkshead where you can wander through this pretty medieval village with its narrow cobbled alleys, tiny squares and old church.

13:05

Our return journey takes us to Waterhead to join your 30 minute cruise voyage to Bowness allowing you to photograph the magnificent views of mountain scenery, secluded bays, wooded islands and gentle rolling hills.

13:35

For those staying overnight your driver will meet you off the ferry and take you to your guesthouse.
For those returning to London pick up will be from Bowness cinema at 16:10

Dear Andy san, Tony san
Thank you very much for the lovely tours. My father has gone back to Japan with beautiful memories of Lake District now. We had a lovely time with you and the boys still talk about the trip. Since we come back the boys got more into Peter Rabbit and we enjoy reading the books . I personally watched the film Miss Potter today remembering all the beautiful views we saw in Lake District. Thank you again. We will certainly come back to Lake District again and would love to join your other tours. Till then good bye.
