A typical English breakfast consists of:

    English breakfast
  • Orange juice, cereals
  • Toast
  • Followed by the traditional English breakfast of bacon, sausage, egg (fried, scrambled, poached or boiled), mushrooms, tomato, baked beans, fried bread.
  • A vegetarian and sometimes a continental option is also available.
  • Tea or coffee

FACILITIES IN THE ROOM
Rooms are en suite and include either a shower or bath. NB most guesthouses have showers rather than baths.

Tariff
There are a wide range of standards and prices for accommodation in Windermere and Bowness.
Tariffs vary with the time of year and number of nights stay. In the months of July thru August
advance booking is essential and minimum 2 night stays are often required especially at weekends.

Windermere has the advantage of being close to Windermere train station but is approx 3.5km from
 the lake and has some shops, restaurants and excellent pubs.

Bowness on Windermere is next to the lake and has a greater variety of shops, restaurants, a cinema, pubs and attractions.

There are excellent short walks to nearby viewpoints from both towns and we are always happy to
point you in the right direction!
