Tariff
There are a wide range of standards and prices for accommodation
in Windermere and Bowness. Tariffs vary with the time
of year and number of nights stay. In the months of July
thru August advance booking is essential and minimum 2
night stays are often required especially at weekends.
Windermere
has the advantage of being close to Windermere train station
but is approx 3.5km from the lake and has some shops,
restaurants and excellent pubs.
Bowness
on Windermere is next to the lake and has a greater variety
of shops, restaurants, a cinema, pubs and attractions.
There
are excellent short walks to nearby viewpoints from both
towns and we are always happy to point you in the right
direction!
